Speaking with GQ Style this week about his still-there desire to land an ubiquitous radio hit, Tyler recalled how impactful the format was on his early years as a music fan. "It's still a piece of me that not only wants to be on the radio, but it's probably some 11-year-old in the middle of fucking nowhere who might hear a song, look me up, get introduced to a whole world—and that could change everything he's into for the rest of his life,' he said, adding that he'll land such a song of his own on either the next album or "the three after that." Elsewhere in the must-read interview, Tyler discussed feeding ducks with Eminem and the tonal sweet spot of radio-friendly voices like Kanye and JAY.
