Teachers Are Using Drake's Hit "In My Feelings" to Inspire Students to Read

Teachers around the country are flipping lyrics from Drake's hit song "In My Feelings" to inspire students to read and write for the upcoming school year.

There is no denying that Drake has had one of the biggest songs of the summer with Scorpion's "In My Feelings." Propelled by Shiggy's viral challenge, the song seems to be on repeat no matter where you go.

To capitalize on the success of Drizzy's latest banger, "cool" school teachers around the country have been flipping the catchy chorus' lyrics, "Kiki, do you love me?/Are you riding?/Say you'll never ever leave from beside me/'Cause I want ya, and I need ya/And I'm down for you always," in an effort to inspire their students to read and write.

Here are some examples of the bulletin board artwork these teachers have created, complete with some accurate paper portraits of the 6 God.

My classroom door, feat. Drake, is ready for the first day of school tomorrow. #TheHateUGive by @angiecthomas is the centerpiece because it’s amazing and I hope all my students read it. pic.twitter.com/wc4A363ijb

Annual back-to-school #bulletinboard for my grade 7/8 classroom! #InMyFeelings @Drake (PS. It’s pronounced ‘meevree’ and that’s a near-rhyme right?) 😂 pic.twitter.com/9iVeQmuEK6

Some of the teachers even went the extra mile to prove how in tune they were with the youth and used the popular Cardi B meme as well.

The final product is sort of corny, but at least they didn't try to flip his "checks over stripes," line from Astroworld's third track "Sicko Mode" to "books over phones" or something, right?
