R. Kelly's Manager Wanted By Authorities for Death Threat to Father of Kelly's Girlfriend

Timothy Savage, the father of Jocelyn, one of the women who is allegedly being kept by R. Kelly in a sex cult, alleges that the singer's manager, James Mason, threatened to kill him, and now police have issued an arrest for Mason.

R. Kelly’s manager, James Mason, is reportedly wanted by Georgia police for making a death threat against Timothy Savage, the father of one of Kelly’s girlfriends, TMZ reports. Savage is one of the parents who claims that Kelly is keeping his daughter Jocelyn hostage as a sex slave.

Savage claims Mason made the threat over the phone, telling him: "I'm gonna do harm to you and your family, when I see you I'm gonna get you, I'm going to fucking kill you." In addition, Savage claims the call was a three-way conversation, so there was a witness. There is currently an arrest warrant out for Mason for making terroristic threats and acts. Mason denies making the threat but intends to cooperate with the police.

TMZ found Jocelyn herself in Beverly Hills earlier this year, at around the same time that Mason allegedly made the threat against her father. In a video, she said her dad was wrong and she was not being held against her will and the accusations that she is part of Kelly's sex cult were false.

Kelly has been at the center of a number of disturbing sexual assault accusations for a number of years. In July of last year, an explosiveBuzzFeed News report alleged Kelly keeps several women in his homes in Atlanta and Chicago and “controls every aspect” of their lives in a kind of sex cult. Since then, even more allegations against Kelly have come to light.

“One of the things I know he had them do is cut their middle fingernail off—the one you shoot the bird with—and he has them apply that up his rectum,” Tim Savage said in a subsequent interview, referring to the little he knows about how the alleged sex cult works. “He doesn’t let them get away,” Joycelyn’s mother, Jonjelyn Savage, said. “He basically isolates them from the world.”
