DJ Jamz Supernova's nifty inside-the-producers-studio series has notched up some impressive guests so far; Toddla T, Roska, Conducta and UNIIQU3 to name just a few. For the eleventh edition in the series, Supernova continues that run with an appearance from bassline maestro and one third of t q d, Flava D.
In it she talks about her years spent teaching herself the basics of production, the influence of bassline and UKG greats like T2, as well as her journey from starting with standard bassline before gradually diversifying more and more to become the producer and selector she is today. While she's most known for those low-end thumpers, particularly those produced with Royal-T and DJ Q, it's worth seeking out her productions in other genres like house and the occasional rap beats she's produced.
Jamz commented: "Flava D is such an integral part of UK music. Her dedication to the bassline scene has really inspired me as someone who has stuck to their guns & sound.
