Remember when Kanye West and Jimmy Kimmel got into a heated Twitter feud in 2013 after Kanye got offended by a parody of his Zane Lowe interview?
The two eventually patched things up on air when Kanye made a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and Kimmel recently looked back on the whole situation in a positive light. "When I got in a Twitter battle with Kanye, I was so happy," he said during an interview for GQ's February cover story. "My wife makes fun of me. She’s like, 'You are so happy right now.' I’m absolutely beaming. I feel very confident in a situation like that."
Now, Kimmel has announced that the two will meet again on Thursday night's show.
Joking that "Hurricane Kanye" will strike this week, Kimmel didn't reveal whether Kanye will be a musical guest on the show, sit down for an interview, or both.
If the two do sit down for a conversation, though, it seems Kimmel will be ready for anything Kanye has to say to him. "When somebody makes a truly offensive joke to me, I love them a little bit more," he told GQ. "If it’s just offensive, it’s no good. But there’s nothing better than when something emotional or serious is going on, maybe it’s a wedding toast, and somebody funny leans over and whispers something terrible into your ear."
Of course, Kanye West has been focused on spreading love and should be in a good mood now that he's about to become a billionaire, so Kimmel probably has nothing to worry about. Maybe he'll share a preview of that 7-song project he's working on with Chance The Rapper? We'll find out on Thursday.
