It’s been an eventful week for Vic Mensa.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Chicago rapper blasted 6ix9ine for seemingly disrespecting the Windy City. 6ix9ine naturally responded by bringing up Mensa’s mother, which prompted Mensa to challenge the “FEFE” rapper to a fight.

“See me and these fucking hands. No security. We seen you drive around Chicago with eight police. Shoot the one on one. See what happens to you boy,” Mensa said in an Instagram video. “I’ll turn your motherfucking face the color of your hair. Put up or shut up like your bitch-ass homie.”

Well, it didn’t take long for Mensa to cool down. Shortly after the back-and-forth, The Manuscript MC dismissed the drama in a subsequent Instagram post: “Honestly, fuck all that beef shit. I’m about positivity, peace, and the music over everything,” he said. “I got a record called ‘Metaphysical’ coming out Friday.”

It was all smiles from there.
