Pause those two new Gambino tracks. We now have new MihTy.
Wednesday, Ty Dolla Sign and Jeremih dropped the official video for their MihTy single "The Light." The video is mostly set in and around a rollerblading rink, with Ty Dolla's perpetual nighttime vibe on full display. See the full video up top.
In an interview with Zane Lowe promoting the deluxe version of his Beach House 3 last month, Ty revealed that he and Jeremih had managed to lay down nearly 60 songs for the project, despite having only met up together in the studio a grand total of eight times. "Next month, I'm dropping a whole other project with me and my brother Jeremih," he said. "That's like a full-length album. I'm so excited for that one. He did it with my bro Hitmaka. He produced the whole shit so it's a consistent album of bangers."
Speaking of consistent albums full of bangers, my fellow Ty Dolla acolytes can take solace in the fact that there's likely a few more full-length collab projects in the pipeline. Last week, Teyana Taylor said she and Ty were prepping to do a "whole album" together.
There's also the possibility that the recently proposed Ty x Kanye West project could actually happen. "Ty is one of the strongest artists that we have living and anything I can do to support, get around, produce, take my hands, chop up, everything!" West said in an interview last month. "I'm with it."
