Christina Aguilera dropped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, the night before her comeback album Liberation dropped, to discuss the project, her family, and her forthcoming tour in September.

But as always, Fallon had some tricks up his sleeve: the two also did a segment where he and Aguilera wore disguises and went to busk in a New York City subway station. With sunglasses, wigs, and hats—Aguilera’s was a particularly floppy hat that basically covered her face—the stars and their three-piece band fooled a fairly large crowd, first covering Aretha Franklin’s “Think” with Fallon on banjo and backup vocals.

Afterward they thanked everyone, then revealed themselves to a surprised and roaring audience and proceeded to play Aguilera’s song “Fighter.” This time around, Fallon contributed with a cowbell.

Xtina previously released the Kanye-co-produced Liberation track "Accellerate" featuring Ty Dolla Sign and 2 Chainz. She and Yeezy "totally clicked" creatively and she "found him to be very endearing." Now that the record's out, you can spin the Ye-co-produced "Maria," as well:

While sitting for an interview, Aguilera and Fallon bonded over the television shows both their kids watch, and Aguilera sang her lullaby version of the theme song for the animated series PJ Masks. She also performed the album cut “Fall In Line,” which features Demi Lovato on the studio version.
