Rihanna has reportedly broken up with her billionaire boyfriend, Saudi businessman Hassan Jameel. According to MediaTakeOut News, she just “gets tired of men sometimes.” Completely understandable.
The couple had been dating for over a year. “Rihanna and him were together for a while,” an insider told the outlet. “It was a good relationship, but now it's over. Of course Rihanna broke his heart. That's what she does: break[s] men's hearts.” The split wasn’t volatile, the source asserted. “Rihanna just got tired of him. She gets tired of men sometimes.”
Rihanna made sure to keep her relationship with Jameel out of the limelight. She never, for instance, shared anything about Jameel on social media. One of the few times the two were seen together was in January, when they were photographed leaving a Grammy Awards after party, within an hour of each other, per Cosmopolitan.
Rihanna even commented on Jameel in her June Vogue cover story, stating, “I used to feel guilty about taking personal time, but I also think I never met someone who was worth it before.”
Jameel isn’t the only man Rihanna’s kept it very real with recently. In her Vogue interview, she spoke candidly on her current situation with Drake, saying that there’s no real friendship to speak of. “We don't have a friendship now, but we're not enemies either,” she said. “It is what it is.”
If anything, work is also keeping Rihanna busy, particularly with the release of Ocean's 8, where she stars alongside Cate Blanchett, Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, and Mindy Kaling, among other notable actresses.
