Manchester's music scene is on a roll right now. With the likes of IAMDDB, Bugzy Malone and Bipolar Sunshine holding it down for soul, grime and pop respectively, there is still room for more to flourish. Enter, Children Of Zeus; consisting of Tyler Daley and Konny Kon, their sound is a taut blend of hip-hop, jazz, and R&B, with a quintessentially British kick. On July 13, COZ will release their much-hyped debut album, Travel Light, and today share its newest drop "All On You"—yet another laid-back joint for the chill-out zone.
Speaking with Complex over email, Konny explained: "We recruited some Manchester family members for 'All On You'. K S R is the future of UK soul music, so we got him on the album before we can't afford him, and D.R.S is the glue that holds the city together so we took myself, Konny, off and put him on the track instead."
