Holding it down, as always, for the East Midlands, it's Northamptonshire rapper Montz with a brand new seven-track EP called Busy Getting Busy. We last told you about Montz when he teamed up with follow Wellingborough spitters F-Trapz and Ghost for "T.R.U (Trappers R Us)" (the latter of whom appears twice on the project). That collab was an impressive one for sure, but it's good to see Montz taking centre stage this time.
Throughout Busy Getting Busy, Montz sets out a sturdy foundation of booming UK rap to which he adds elements of trap, UK drill and even a hint of G-funk for a timeless, scene-hopping collection, reminding us of just how much blistering rap heat there is outside of the M25.
