Yellow Claw and DJ Snake have reunited on a summer-ready single titled “Public Enemy.”

The track, which was teased earlier this week on social media, will appear on Yellow Claw’s upcoming album New Blood. It marks the third collaboration between the DJ Snake and the Dutch duo, following 2013’s “Slow Down” and 2017’s “Good Day.”

As pointed out by EDM Sauce, “Public Enemy” was originally assisted by Skrillex under the rumored title “Rawhide”; but for whatever reason, the collaborative record was never completed, which is why DJ Snake was recruited about four years later to supply the finishing touches.

We may never know why the initial version was scrapped. But all's well that ends well, right?

Yellow Claw’s New Blood project is set to drop June 22. The album is expected to include appearances by ASAP Ferg, Creek Boyz, San Holo, Sofia Reyes, and more.

It also appears that DJ Snake is gearing up to release a joint record with Jermaine Dupri. The Atlanta hit-maker teased the track earlier this week on Twitter, insisting it was coming “soon.”
