Chance the Rapper Surprises High Schoolers in Chicago by Bringing Out Donald Glover

He performed “This Is America.”

On Monday night, Chance the Rapper held an Open Mike Chicago event that saw some high school kids get (understandably) pretty damn shocked when Donald Glover/Childish Gambino came out to perform "This is America." Luckily, a portion of the No. 1 hit being performed in front of the surprised audience was captured and posted to social media.

Check it out:

In the relatively recent past, Glover teased that he and Chance would "probably" team up for a collaborative mixtape. That would be in addition to tracks the two have already worked on together, which include: "The Worst Guys," "Favorite Song," as well as "They Don't Like Me."

Hopefully Chance bringing out Gambino means the two have also been spending some quality time in the studio together. Hey, who knows, maybe we'll even get a Chance feature on Gambino's upcoming (and supposedly last) album, which should be coming out pretty soon.
