Not that it's any of my business, or yours, but there's now a report that Cardi B and Offset actually got married months ago.
As you may have guessed, the report comes from TMZ. According to their digging, Cardi and Offset obtained a marriage certificate in Fulton County, Georgia Sept. 20. The two are also expecting a baby daughter.
On Sunday night at the BET Awards, Offset referred to Cardi as his wife while accepting the Best Group honor with Migos. "Thank God," he said. "I thank my wife. You should thank yours."
Complex has reached out to Cardi's reps for comment. This afternoon, Cardi shared a message on Twitter confirming she got married last year.
In the same Rolling Stone cover story where Cardi B awesomely referred to Trump as a known "dickhead," Offset spoke candidly on the couple's partnership. "We really love each other," he said. "She's real. I wanted real. I also wanted successfu.l ... Guys, fellas! You'll lose your wife trying to stop them from being the best they can."
Annoyingly, a smattering of idiots have decided to spend actual time harassing Cardi about the pregnancy. As usual, this smattering of idiots calls Twitter home. In response to a since-deleted tweet earlier this month from someone who actually tried to suggest that Cardi couldn't be pregnant and maintain a high-profile music career, she noted that she's still "getting this money' while looking forward to her "biggest blessing."
