A man has claimed that he’s gotten sick from smoking Xzibit’s strain of THC oil.

In a lawsuit, Ignacio Lee alleges that he bought the Brass Knuckles-branded THC Concentrate Vape Cartridges in Candy Apple and Sour Diesel flavors that Xzibit endorsed on his Instagram. Xzibit’s cosign drew Lee to the product.

Xzibit said on Instagram that this particular THC oil is “clean.” He also stated that the product is, “COMPLETELY pesticide AND contaminate FREE.”  Xzibit was promoting Brass Knuckles heavy on his Instagram in 2016.

However, Lee claims that he had a negative reaction to the product after he started using it in July 2016. In 2017, he started experiencing fatigue, headaches, nausea, chest pains, shortness of breath, wheezing, and difficulty breathing. He claims that the symptoms subsided after he stopped using the oil in August.

According to TMZ, legal documents show that Lee had the product tested in an independent lab, where the results showed visible levels of pesticides. Lee has filed a class action lawsuit for anyone who’s smoked those particular strains of Brass Knuckles. He’s asking for a payout and an order banning Xzibit and anyone else from promoting the item as contaminant free.
