Will Smith Drops New Music: 'I Got The Beast Back'

Will Smith talks his rich life and divorce rumors in his new rap.

The Fresh Prince is back. Yes, that's right, Will Smith is officially back on the rap scene.

Smith has been in the public eye more than ever in the past few months with his Instagram account and vlogs on YouTube. Now, he's set to bring his talents back to the rap world.

"At my peak, I was doing a television show, a movie, and an album every year so it was like churning out, that kind of creativity," explains Smith. "What happens is you get to a point where you get empty. So I'm excited, I'm re-energized and I'm creating wildly like I used to. I'm ready. I got the beast back."

As the funky beat comes in, Smith starts to rap about how much money he has, hanging out with Obama, and his movie career.

"Twenty years of swag ya'll just witnessed/let me remind everybody who Will Smith is," he raps, later adding that if he "makes it rain" he'll likely kill strippers with how heavy his cash flow is. "I'm an anomaly/do drama or comedy," he raps. "Down with the man in charge where Uncle Phil is," he continues, referencing The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air dad, James Avery, who died in 2013.

"Everybody wanna do Will Smith numbers/I don't know if your life got that many summers," he continues, adding how he can chill at the "crib with his "mama and Obama."

Oh, and about those divorce rumors which sprout up every few months: "20 years of swag ya'll just witnessed/stop the divorce rumors and mind ya'll damn business."

He ends it by calling his family the "real life Incredibles" meaning "ya'll ain't fuckin' with [his] clique."

It's been 13 years since Smith dropped 2005's Lost and Found. Now he's got a song with Diplo and will likely drop more new songs in the near future. As the end of the video promises, there's "new music coming soon."
