Premiere: Walton And Riko Dan Show "No Mercy" When They Combine

We get the feeling this won't be the last gem to come from the Tectonic camp this year.

Not long after his Hard Food EP marked 100 releases on Tectonic, Riko Dan is already back to lend some bars to the next Tectonic release, this time it's the new album from Manchester producer Walton (who also lent his talents to Riko's Hard Food EP).

"No Mercy" is the fruit of their efforts and the new collab maintains both Walton and the label's reputations for caustic, harsh bass music in the broader sense. Wide open, dubby spaces are shot through with teeth-crunching industrial drums and, of course, Riko's commanding, grimey tones. We get the feeling this won't be the last gem to come from the Tectonic camp this year.

Walton's Black Lotus album drops July 6. Pre-order it here.
