To say that Maths Time Joy works hard would be an understatement.
Having produced for the likes of Mahalia, Kevin Garrett and Snakehips, as well as having his work used as part of Chanel's latest ad campaign featuring Lily Rose Depp, the fact that he's premiering the fifth track from his Sunset Motel EP should come as little surprise. As the final countdown to the full project begins (releases May 4), MTJ is today sharing "Misunderstood" featuring L.A singer Asal Hazel—a vibey, intricate, laid-back track that you can just zone out to after a long, hard day. As is becoming a trend with the hitmaker, choosing Asal for the feature slot was a perfect choice as her vocals match the instrumentation perfectly, setting up his latest EP to potentially be his best work to date.
