At the top of this month, R&B singer-songwriter Elle Watson announced the release date of her new EP, Clinchers, and with that announcement came the video for lead song "Pressure". Together with Glass Animals frontman Dave Bayley and Wolf Tone head Paul Epworth, Watson has crafted a smouldering expression of loneliness and heartache.
Speaking over email, Watson told Complex: "We wanted to mirror the idea of travelling down a path with a person who's seemingly in control of a situation when—in reality—the two of them are totally disconnected. It represents longing to be closer to someone whilst being paralysed in a repetitive, dream-like state."
