Playboi Carti has abruptly canceled his Australian and New Zealand tour dates—which were meant to kick off in Perth tonight—after initially postponing the tour in March.
Illusive Presents and Frontier Touring’s statement on the matter cite Playboi Carti’s “personal reasons” as the cause for this drastic, last-minute change in the tour schedule. At this time, it’s unclear whether or not there are any immediate plans to reschedule the tour, with the same venues, for a later time this year—or whether Carti has definitively scrapped this tour altogether.
Fortunately, all ticket holders will be reimbursed for their purchases automatically, which hopefully gives Carti’s fans a semblance of peace right now.
