Offset Addresses Recent Car Crash: 'I Could Have Been Dead From This Accident'

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.

Days after he was hospitalized with car crash injuries, Offset took to social media to express his gratitude and to address the severity of the accident.

The Migos rapper posted an Instagram gallery that included images of his bloody hands, arms, and face, as well as photos of the damaged Dodge Challenger he was in.

Offset captioned the post: “This is why I thank God Every day I could have been dead from this accident thank you all for you prayers all I can say is (G O D I S R E A L G E T W I T H H I M ) H E S A V E S L I V E S.”

According to TMZ, a passerby reported the accident shortly after it occurred at around 2:30 a.m. Thursday in Atlanta. When law enforcement arrived at the scene, the Challenger had been abandoned, with no victims or witnesses in sight. Authorities are now trying to determine what caused the accident.

Hours after he was released from the hospital, Offset posted a video filmed inside a recording studio, where he showed off his bandages and medical wristband. Though he didn't say anything in the clip, the rapper seemed to be in good spirits at the time, as he was seen smoking and bobbing his head to music.
