NIKI may be a relatively fresh face to the scene, but it's clear on Zephyr that the 19-year-old Indonesian artist has found a lane in mixing different flavors to deliver her own distinct sound.
At eight songs in length, Zephyr leans into her trials of love and relationships. "Newsflash!" finds NIKI brushing off the guy she won't allow to bring her down any longer. Switching up gears, she brings the bedroom bounce with "Say My Name," lets lust take the wheel on "Devil With the Devil," then knocks you head over heels with "Around," a sweet piano ballad that will have you longing for the one who holds a piece of your heart. Additionally: "I wanna be the one you call drunk" is a super fact.
"Thank you for making what once seemed like a pipe dream a reality," NIKI said upon the release of Zephyr. "I do not take it for granted."
