It’s been almost a decade since Nick Jonas made his motion picture debut on Disney’s Camp Rock, and so much has changed. The youngest member of Disney's famous sibling trio has since taken a solo departure, beginning with his first major solo hit “Chains” back in 2014. And while his new song “Anywhere” is no “Burnin’ Up,” Jonas’ new adult sound and new music video, amplified by DJ Mustard's fantastic production, deserves attention.

The video itself features a swole Nick Jonas alongside DJ Mustard dancing in front of a giant multi-colored screen à la Rihanna in her “This Is What You Came For” music video. While they spend most of their time jamming in a random field, a montage of footage featuring a dramatic couple going through the highs and lows of their relationship also plays throughout the video.

To be honest, I spent most of the video waiting for Nick to reappear on screen—which is also what I did while watching Camp Rock back in 2008—but I digress.

DJ Mustard is no stranger to crafting the perfect hit song, including Tinashe’s infectious “2 On” and Omarion’s catchy “Post To Be,” among many others.

"Collaborating with Mustard was amazing," Jonas told Billboard. "I think it’s exciting to step into this EDM side of things, and to have this collaboration as a first step out this year. I want to make music that people want to have a good time to. When people come to the show, for them to be able to dance and express themselves is kind of the greatest thing…it’s nice to be able to create music that gives people that opportunity, and I think this song encourages them."

Jonas is reportedly releasing a new album sometime later this year.
