Meek Mill Gives Drake a Shout-Out in New Verse

This "What's Beef" rework better be dropping soon.

Not much is known about Meek Mill's plans for new music following his release from prison last month, but is a remix of the Notorious B.I.G.'s "What's Beef" in the cards?

On Monday, which marked what would have been Biggie's 46th birthday, clips of a Meek Mill and Rick Ross remix of the Life After Death cut popped up on social media. In one clip, captured by Drake fan account WordOnRd, Meek shouts out the 6 god:

Is we beefin' or rappin'?

The clip cuts off before we're able to hear Meek finish the line:

In another clip shared to Meek's Instagram story, we hear Ross celebrating Meek's freedom.

Meek home, all the haters gettin' handled

Some fans are even speculating that they hear a possible Drake ad lib in the background of the initial clip.

Citing the reality that "anything is possible," Meek revealed earlier this month that he's open to linking with Drake in the studio. "I don't have hate towards him, and I don't believe he has hate towards me," he said during a recent Hot 97 interview. "When I was in that situation, I seen in the media he was like 'Free Meek Mill' that's when I was at my down point when I didn't have anything going on with music."

As for what to expect next from Meek, lyrically speaking, he said in a separate interview with the Breakfast Club crew that what he's gone through might have him talking "hurt" and "anger."

Drake, meanwhile, is readying his new album Scorpion for release in June. All signs point to something Meek x Drake related dropping soon.
