Even if you don't know Marci Phonix's music, chances are you saw him eviscerate Conservative MP and historian Kwasi Kwarteng on the subject of the Windrush scandal on Channel 4 News last month. In it, the London grime MC wore a black hoodie with "No Blacks No Dogs No Irish" emblazoned across it as he picked apart Kwarteng's defenses.
For his new video "Liberties", Phonix channels that same energy into a politically-charged anthem that tackles subjects like Stephen Lawrence's murder, the Windrush scandal and aggressive over-policing.
