Lil Yachty is keeping himself busy lately, with rumored projects upcoming with Lil Pump, Takeoff, and Trippie Redd, but he took a minute to give his fans a little taste of what he's been working on recently with two new snippets of music.

Boat's first Instagram post previewed a song that shows his emotional side. The snippet was a love ballad of sorts that featured Yachty professing his admiration for his girl over a stripped back, acoustic guitar melody.

This new sound is unique for the King of the Teens, but already seems to be creating buzz among his social media followers and young fans. Yachty prompted his followers to "tag someone u love" in the comments, and sure enough, displays of 21st century romance ensued under the 20-year-old rapper's social media post.

Soon after, Yachty switched things up and posted another new snippet of a song he has in the works with rising newcomer BlocBoy JB. This song, "Who Want Da Smoke," sounds more like the signature trap sound that many know Yachty for, but it's likely still being tinkered with; the video revealed it was a playback during what looked to be a studio session with the young rappers.

There's no official release dates for either of these tracks just yet, but it's safe to say that Yachty is likely gearing up for some of his own summer releases.
