Jessie Reyez has come forward with her own accusation of sexual misconduct against music producer Detail, the man behind hits like Beyoncé’s “Drunk in Love” and Wiz Khalifa’s “We Dem Boys.”

Yesterday TMZ reported that two women were accusing Detail of sexual assault and rape. Quoting the TMZ story Reyez tweeted “One night, over 6 years ago Noel ‘Detail’ Fisher tried this on me.”

The Toronto native also revealed in an Instagram post that Detail was the inspiration for her heartbreaking song “Gatekeeper,” where Reyez sings about the misogyny and violent sexism she experienced early on in the music industry. "Yes this is who gatekeeper is about. My experience didn’t get this awful,” she wrote in the post.

In an interview with Billboard last year, Reyez talked about making it out of that environment unharmed, but admitted she almost took the offer to sleep with the so-called “gatekeepers” of the industry. "I thought about it. I say in the video I thought about doing it. It’s not like I was adamant about the ‘No’ off the bat," she said. "I thought about it because I was thinking that this might be my only shot and this might be what it is, so if I say no now, the probability of me encountering this again within another year, another two years, the way he’s talking about it, it sounds like it’s probable so why am I going to say no?"

Reyez isn’t the only well-known artist who came forward to accuse Detail of sexual misconduct. After the TMZ story broke, Bebe Rexha also responded on social media claiming the producer attempted to coerce her into a similar situation.

Kristina Buch and Peyton Ackley are the two artists accusing Detail of raping them following a recording session in Miami. They were granted a restraining order by a judge that states Detail cannot come with 100 yards of the two women.
