Jacquees Arrested

Video of Cash Money artist Jacquees surfaced Sunday evening showing the singer in handcuffs, being escorted out of Milwaukee’s Mitchell Airport. As pointed out by HotNewHipHop, Jacquees took advantage of the person filming to plead his case.

“I’m getting locked up for no reason. I’m getting locked up because the police said I flicked them off,” he explains while being escorted out of the airport. "I did not touch the police one time. I was singing in the airport. The police said I could not sing.”

When the camera loses sight of the “Come Thru” singer, he asks the person filming to “bring the camera closer please.” “I did not do nothing to an officer,” he continues before being taken to the airport police station. He apparently wasn’t detained for long; in an Instagram story Sunday night, clearly no longer in police custody, he tells someone off-camera you have to “plead your case” or else you’ll get put in jail.

The Cash Money crooner’s last run-in with the law was in March, when he was arrested in South Beach Miami for driving his Lamborghini without a seatbelt and “disrupting the peace.”

It’s unclear if the recent detention resulted in any charges, but for the time being Jacquees is free as a bird.
