It's pretty common for artists to take a break from creating in order to work on a project or gain new inspiration; however it's rare for an artist to take a full decade in crafting their offering. Montreal's Donzelle did just that with her latest multidisciplinary album Presse-jus, and when you take in the mind-blowing concept as a whole, it's easy to see what took so long.

Each track features a different producer, the likes of which include Pierre Crube (Numéro#), Stéphane Lafleur (Avec pas d’casque), Tanguy Meunier aka LOULOUXIV (Lust), Fabrizia Difruscia (Random Recipe) with Philippe Brault, and Bertrand Pouyet aka Cerne (Bronswick).  The tracks represent a number of genres, jumping from 90's dance music to contemporary rap and R&B with ease, meaning that whether you're a fan of rap or electronic, you'll probably find something that speaks to you. And on the topic of speaking, the album is multilingual, with Donzelle singing in French, English or Portuguese, and tacking boldly feminist and contemporary subjects in her lyrics.

In a Beyonce-esque move, Donzelle worked with a talented team of directors—including Khoa Lê, Thomas Murray Leblanc, and David Lebrun, as well as artists Nelly-Ève Rajotte, Zipertatou, and Frances Adair McKenzie—to produce an accompanying visual for each song. Be sure to check the visuals out after you've streamed the album above. Donzelle will also be celebrating the release of her album with a party in Montreal tonight at Le Ministère.
