In fact, Tuesday's Tonight Show was an all-Ariana affair. Grande also surprised fans who thought they were being filmed solely for a fellow fan's video, showed off her Jennifer Coolidge impression, covered Drake and Kendrick during a round of Musical Genre Challenge, and detailed her upcoming new album.

"It was a really awesome experience," Grande said of working with Pharrell and Max Martin during the sessions for the new album, which she revealed Tuesday will be called Sweetener. "Because it's kind of about bringing light to a situation or to someone's life or somebody else who brings light to your life, sweetening the situation," she explained.

Sweetener marks Grande's first full-length project since 2016's Dangerous Woman and her first since the fatal terrorist attack at her Manchester show in May 2017.

Last month, Grande dropped off the Dave Meyers-directed official video for "No Tears Left to Cry." As Grande explained to Jimmy Fallon Tuesday, clues as to the final Sweetener tracklist are actually tucked nicely into the video. See for yourself below.
