TIDAL continues to expand its empire with the premiere of Finesse, an online original series that showcases some of the brightest names in today’s music.

One of the first installments focuses on producer Hit-Boy, the man behind records like “Niggas in Paris” by Jay Z and Kanye West, “Drop the World” by Lil Wayne, and “Goldie” by ASAP Rocky. The 30-year-old hit-maker opens up about the evolution of his career, going from posting music on Myspace to collaborating with some of the greatest names in hip-hop history. The Grammy-winning producer also sheds some light on his creative process, and goes on to demonstrate how he created the beat for Rihanna’s “Pose” record.

The other two installments highlight the careers of Beyoncé protegées Chloe x Halle and “White Iverson” producer Fki 1st. Just like Hit-Boy, these artists speak about their path to success and provide some details behind their most notable work.

Check out Fki 1st's episode above, and Hit-Boy and Chloe x Halle episodes below.
