Wisconsin rapper Ted Park has unveiled the official video for “Broke,” the lead single off his upcoming debut EP.

The song finds the Korean-American artist rapping about newfound wealth and fame, while also looking back at his humble beginnings.

“Less than half a year ago, was sleeping in the projects/Ooh, it’s poppin, no more empty wallets,” he spits over the Danny Bobby-produced cut. “Last year I was broke, with no Rollie on my wrist/Now I can dance with my stones, while I’m dancing with your bitch.”

It’s a cocky track inspired by the law of attraction, Park said.

“The reason I made ‘Broke’ was to elevate and stay hungry,” he told Complex via email. “Even though I’m not rich yet, I feel rich compared to where I was last year and wanted to speak it into existence. From sleeping on floors last year to touring with Dumbfoundead across the nation now, we can make anything happen by making a statement.”

While we wait for Parks’ debut EP to drop, fans can catch the rapper on Dumbfoundead’s current Yikes Tour. His dates are listed below.
