Nipsey Hussle Performs "FDT" in Front of Kanye West's MAGA Selfie

The L.A. rapper joins the chorus of other artists expressing disdain for Ye's views on Trump.

Nipsey Hussle and YG provided one of the best anti-Trump tracks when they dropped “FDT” (Fuck Donald Trump) back in March 2016, well ahead of the presidential election that would later put Trump in the oval office.

Since then, Snoop Dogg, Rae Sremmurd, A Tribe Called Quest, Eminem, and many more have joined their ranks, dissing the president. Since “FDT” came out, Nipsey hasn’t backed down on his views of Donald, and made that clear during his performance at Broccoli Festival in Washington D.C. on Saturday. Not only was “FDT” part of his set, but during the song he displayed a selfie of Kanyewearing a “Make America Great Again” hat in the background.  The photo of Ye did not sway fans from putting their middle fingers up and singing along.

Twitter was set ablaze last week as Kanye tweeted about his love and support of Donald Trump. John Legend, Snoop Dogg, T.I., Questlove, and countless other celebrities expressed everything from concern to disdain for Ye’s comments. Nipsey Hussle’s performance shows he’s clearly among that chorus. Kanye is well-aware of the backlash, so we’ll see if he takes the time to respond to the L.A. rapper's performance.
