Nicki Minaj just released two new singles—“Chun-Li” and “Barbie Tingz”—and discussed the songs on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show, in addition to...every other topic in the world.

The subject of competition in terms of women in rap quickly came up, specifically the seemingly inevitable beef with Cardi B spawned by her comments that Nicki unfairly changed her verse on "MotorSport." “I kind of felt ambushed,” said Nicki, especially after Quavo “didn’t back (her) up” on how the song came together. Now that Nicki is promoting her new singles and making the rounds, she had quite a few things to say—about both Cardi and Quavo—with reactions on the Migos MC’s Instagram now fueling the fire.

According to VH1, Nicki claims Cardi hasn’t shown her enough respect. She’s also pretty frustrated with Quavo, whom she feels didn’t defend her enough when rumors of Nicki’s alleged difficulties with collaborating began cropping up. “All of them allowed me to look like I lied,” said Nicki. “[Cardi] started using my hairdresser [Tokyo]. He knows there was a scheduling conflict. I fully support her and she never showed me genuine love. They all went about and played the victim.”

According to XXL, when it came to Quavo, specifically, Nicki had some choice things to say. “I love Quavo, and at the time, on Twitter, I explained how ‘MotorSport’ came about, and you know, people were saying that I was lying,” said Nicki. “So I texted Quavo and I said, ‘Hey, just, you know, could you back me up on this because I don’t want people to think I’m lying. What do I have to lie about? And he didn’t back me up,” she said. “He texted me, and he was like, ‘I would go on Twitter and back you up if you were my girl lol.’ And that hurt, because he’s somebody—I love him.”

(Now's a great time to mention Iggy Azalea said a couple weeks ago Quavo has been one of the only people truly there for her amid all the bs.)

But Nicki isn't the only one angry at Quavo, with Barbz across the internet defending their queen and ambushing Quavo on social media. After a seemingly innocuous IG post promoting Martell cognac, Quavo got hit with a lot of comments attacking him for his supposed lack of integrity and respect. Here's the IG post in question, with a series of pretty humorous reactions following behind.

However, not everyone is as supportive of Nicki here, with a lot of people feeling like there's some hypocrisy on her behalf in terms of respecting the female MCs that came before her. If Nicki hasn't walked the walk, how can she demand others do?

With Nicki's comments only hitting the airwaves today, there are surely way more entertaining developments ahead of us. There's no doubt we'll hear from Cardi, since she's blown up to massive proportions and will likely be prodded to speak on the matter. As for Quavo, we'll have to wait and see. For now, feel free to head on over to Quavo's IG and bask in the mass amounts of vitriolic commentary.
