Despite the amount of protesting and the judge with an alleged "personal vendetta" against the rapper being removed from having the final word on him being granted bail, Meek Mill remains in prison. Meek was sentenced to 2-4 years for violating parole by Judge Genece Brinkley back in November of 2017.
To make sure the movement to get him out doesn't lose steam, Meek's people have shared a powerful music video for the track "1942 Flows," which appeared on his previous album Wins & Losses.
The visuals, which were directed by Spike Jordan, feature a significant chunk of footage that was shot before Meek was incarcerated. It also shows footage of protests calling for the rapper to be released. It's a video that very proudly reps Philadelphia, just as Meek has previously done on multiple occasions.

Just the other day, Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner decided to file no opposition to allowing Meek to be freed on bail at the Pennsylvania Supreme Court level. Meek's lawyer, Joe Taponica, relayed a statement to Complex about the news: “We are encouraged by the Philadelphia District Attorney’s steadfast stance in not opposing Meek Mill’s release on bail at the Pennsylvania Supreme Court level while the current legal proceedings continue, even in light of Judge Brinkley’s vindictive and erroneous decision."
