We Saved Some Classic Kanye West Tweets Before He Just Deleted Them Forever

Kanye West is back on Twitter.

If this album rollout is anything like his last few, that means new music is on the way. Everyone's happy.

But... he also just went through and deleted all of his tweets one by one, as soon as he re-activated his account. So many classic Kanye moments, gone forever. Honestly, I can't really blame him. I don't think anyone wants Kanye's old "BILL COSBY INNOCENT !!!!!!!!!!" messages getting re-tweeted on our timelines as he promotes his new album.

It is a little frustrating to see all of those moments get deleted, though. Fortunately, Kanye doesn't know how to mass-delete tweets, so he had to remove them each one by one. I snagged screenshots of some classic moments before they're gone. You know, for history sake. Or whatever.

This is by no means a collection of his best Twitter moments. You can see compilations like that other places—like here. I didn't originally plan on posting these as I scrambled to take screenshots while he deleted just now—and I definitely didn't capture all of his best. But now that the rest are gone and no one has access, I thought I'd share. For the archives. Welcome back, Kanye.
