Joey Badass Thinks Bill Maher's Got 'Bars' on Kanye and Trump

Bill Maher couldn't help but joke about Kanye's "love" of Donald Trump.

Ever since Kanye West jumped back on Twitter to reveal some forthcoming projects while announcing his "love" for Donald Trump, everyone has had something to say. From unqualified accusations of mental health issues to pleading from actual friends, the majority of comments relating to 'Ye's Trump stance have been negative. Unless, of course, you're an alt-right scumbag sporting a MAGA hat.

Now Bill Maher, who has a history of questionable statements of his own, has made his voice heard (yes, in reckless armchair psychiatrist mode):

The thing about #KanyeWest is, u don’t know if he’s trolling or just off his meds - Trump says there are good people on both sides of Kanye’s head.

— Bill Maher (@billmaher) April 30, 2018

The tweet, besides sounding legitimately like a line from a tight 16, makes reference to Trump's response to the 'Unite the Right' rally in Charlottesville. "I think there is blame on both sides," he said in a conference at Trump Tower's lobby following the death of Heather Heyer, who was run over when a white supremacist plowed his car into a crowd of anti-protestors.

Joey Badass, who is no stranger to getting political himself, noticed Maher's tweet resembles a hot bar.

While it's unclear if that was Maher's intent, it would seem Joey's a fan of what he's got to say on the matter. Whether he agrees is a different matter. Joey, unlike pretty much the rest of the hip-hop world, has yet to comment on Kanye's Trump-approval. Badass did recently reveal he has a new album on the way soon, though, so perhaps he's saving his proper response for that.
