Wale isn't slowing down this year. Just recently, he released the surprise EP It's Complicated, which was preceded by the release of the boastful and celebratory "Staying Power." The song alludes to Wale's departure from Atlantic Records, with Wale rapping, "Left Atlantic 'bout a minute later/Every record label try and scout me." Now, he's shared the lavish video for the song.

While "Staying Power" didn't show up on It's Complicated, it's clear that Wale is ready to give the song a big push. Released through Maybach Music and Every Blue Moon, "Staying Power" sees Wale really touting his rapping skills. Filmed in his hometown of Washington, D.C., the video shows off the city as well as depicts the lifestyle his talents have afforded him. The 33-year-old rapper seems to be gearing up for yet another huge year if "Staying Power" is any indication.

Wale recently wiped his Twitter account, leaving very few tweets outside of promos and replies. He's definitely up to something, but he seems to be keeping quiet as to what that something might be.
