Premiere: Tone Stith Looks to "Get It Right" With His Girl in New Video

Tone Stith shares a new video for a song off his debut project 'Let Me Talk.'

Tone Stith has received some pretty big co-signs in the early stage of his career, and he's making the most of the opportunity by showing and proving he's got the chops to back it up.

Last July, the New Jersey artist released his debut project, Can We Talk, as well as hit the road with August Alsina. On top of that, he got to spend some time with Drake during a rehearsal that also included Jas Prince, who famously discovered the OVO leader and currently manages Stith.

Since then, Stith has toured the country and shared videos for a handful of tracks off Can We Talk, with his newest being "Get It Right." Dedicated fans of the artist are aware he dropped a visual for this song last year; this latest version finds Stith linking up with that special someone in his life while also showing off his smooth choreographed moves.

“When I think of a perfect way to explain the concept behind ‘Get It Right,’ the phrase trial and error comes to mind," Stith tells Complex via email. "The first line begins with ‘had to get it wrong just to get it right,’ which can apply to many life situations today. In the song and video, I'm referring to love, and in any relationship you're going to go through ups and downs, and make mistakes, but you have to do your best to learn from those experiences so you don't repeat them."

Fans will grasp that from watching the video, but Stith explains the concept goes deeper. "This also relates to more than just love and relationships. Whatever you’re passionate about or want to achieve in life, you will go through highs and lows, you have to go through the wrong (hardships/challenges), but keep pushing, to ‘Get It Right.’”
