Gucci Mane can’t stop working.
Though last year was pretty busy for the rapper, he reassured fans that 2018 wasn’t going to be a rest period. La Flare has plans to drop another solo studio album dubbed The Evil Genius, as well as a collaborative mixtape with Lil Yachy and Migos reportedly called Glacier Boyz. On Thursday night, we finally got a little taste of what the latter project will sounds like.
Gucci just dropped off his new single “Solitaire” assisted by Lil Boat and the Quality Control trio. As the title suggests, the C.N.O.T.E. produced-song finds the rappers flexing their money and extravagant jewelry.
“Wop be on that Nicki shit, my whole clique robbing / Looking at the robbers like, ‘Y'all ain't finna take shit,’” Gucci raps. “Glacier Boy, amazing shit, yeah jeweler ain't a bonus / Crazy diamond bracelet, I'm jealous of my own wrist / If you ain't spend a million yet, you probably won't agree with this.”
You can check out the song above. There's still no word on when The Evil Genius and Glacier Boyz will drop, but the new single suggests at least one of them is right around the corner.
