Rick and Morty's relationship with rap music continues. Not long after the Adult Swim characters announced the release date of Logic's Bobby Tarantino II mixtape, the cartoon duo are starring in the latest video from Run the Jewels. The animated visuals for RTJ3's "Oh Mama" stars Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith, essentially making for a mini episode of the show, much to the pleasure of fans hungry for more from the series.

The "Oh Mama" video starts with the two flying a ship, before devolving into some inventive alien-focused violence. The finale features full-on Tarantino-style as the pair dispose of the alien threat, coolly walking off right at the end. The Juan Meza-León-directed visuals is one of the coolest animated videos in a long time, and it's a pretty perfect fit for the song.

To coincide with the new Adult Swim-produced visuals, Run the Jewels have announced that they'll be headlining the inaugural Adult Swim Festival later this year. The Los Angeles-based festival will take place on October 6 and 7 at the Row DTLA, with the full line-up to be announced soon. The festival will feature previews of new Adult Swim shows and episodes of upcoming seasons, as well as comedic performances, likely with acts such as Eric Andre appearing.

Run the Jewels dropped their third studio album, Run the Jewels 3, back in December of 2016.
