We don't drink the same water serves as the opening line in a powerful new song from Kiah Victoria entitled "Remedy". The line is a direct reference to the Flint water crisis that started back in 2014, and is followed by a sample of an uplifting speech from Michelle Obama in Philadelphia.

The vocals on the song stir emotion through the intoxicating, soothing nature of her voice—as though she was from Flint, although she hails from New York City. Speaking on the track, Kiah told Complex: "I wanted this song to shine some light against the present fuckeries of today and the notion that both heaven and hell reside here on earth, even within each person. The reality is we've somehow got to the point where water is a luxury, even in the United States."
