Playboi Carti's Debut Album Is Reportedly Finished

Pi'erre Bourne shared the news on social media.

Its sounds like the wait for Playboi Carti’s debut album is almost over.

On Friday afternoon, Carti’s go-to producer Pi'erre Bourne sent out a tweet announcing that the long-awaited project was finally completed.

“Somebody from the label wants me to tweet Carti's albums done,” he wrote.

When pressed about who from the label ordered the announcement, Bourne replied, “Me.” So, it seems like this pretty much confirms the project is ready to go.

Carti fans have been patiently awaiting the rapper’s debut album for a minute. That anticipation increased back in December, when we received footage of Carti in what appeared to be a studio. The silent clip was simply captioned, “Album Mode,” and did not provide any clues as to what we could expect—or when we could expect it.

Carti was scheduled to hit the road for a North American tour in mid-April; however, the headliner Big Sean postponed the trek in late February, explaining he needed to spend more time in the studio. Maybe, just maybe, he was inspired by Carti’s dedication and “album mode.”

Shortly after Sean made the announcement, Bourne provided another update on Carti’s project. The producer told fans he was in the midst of working on the album, and that the material was “so fye.”

Sounds like fans won't be disappointed.

Be sure to keep it locked as more details about the project are revealed.
