MĪRAJ has been making music for a minute but just released his most comprehensive project yet, Made In Paradise. The 10-track offering is a collaborative effort between MĪRAJ, who handled all the songwriting, and producer INK.

"We linked up through a mutual friend back in 2014 and since then we started making music, vibing and taking our time trying to craft our sound," MĪRAJ tells us of their close working relationship. "It wasn’t until early last year that we finally decided to make this project and bring together ideas that we’ve had for years of working together. We worked on this project for 9 months, building it from ground up."

While his name might be a riff on a noun that describes an optical illusion, MĪRAJ's desire for more out of life is very real, and something he explores on When In Paradise. "Going through my life before...felt almost empty," he says of his journey into music. "Once I started making music, writing out my thoughts, I felt like I was in this place that I call “Paradise”...When you're in that place or mindset you believe anything is possible. I hope when people hear the various stories on this project, they connect with them and for a moment allow the music to take them to a place that they never thought existed."
