Lil Yachty has Danielle Bregoli’s back.
While leaving the Tumblr headquarters in NYC this Friday, Lil Boat briefly spoke to TMZ about his rumored collaboration with Bregoli, aka Bhad Bhabie. Yachty was asked if he had anything to say to those who question the 14-year-old’s rap skills: “Suck my dick,” he replied. “She’s harder than a lot of niggas. Rumors of a Yachty and Bhabi collaboration began circulating back in February when the two artists were spotted in the recording studio alongside Migos’ Offset.
Shortly after footage of the studio session was posted on Instagram, many fans began blasting Yachty for working with Bhabie.
Despite all the criticism, Yachty isn't apologizing for working with the teenage rapper/walking meme. In a recent interview with BigBoyTV. Yachty spoke about the collaboration and how it came to be.
“She’s actually been hitting me for another song. The first song, I just really didn’t feel like it fit me. But she sent this song, and it’s dope to me,” he said. “She’s actually kinda of dope. I think so. I support her because she’s young. I support the youth, even though I may not agree with all her actions sometimes. Everyone is entitled to be themselves, and I don’t judge anybody. I think she has the opportunity to become something.”
On Friday, Yachty made an appearance on Bhabie’s Instagram page, where he encouraged fans to cop tickets to her Bhanned in the USA Tour. Check out the video below.
