It's been tough for rapper Iggy Azalea to climb back to the heights she saw in 2014, but she's back on the promo circuit with her latest single, "Savior". The sometimes controversial Austrailian performed on The Late Late Show With James Corden on Tuesday backed by a chorus of singers-slash-dancers.

The choir filled in for Quavo, who is normally featured on the single but wasn't there for the performance. While Iggy has released a handful of tracks since the whirlwind success of "Fancy" and The New Classic, this might be the one that sticks. Donning an all-black get-up and bright pink hair, she rapped and swayed along with her background singers. This showing was, of course, light years better than the 2013 freestyle she wanted to "die over".

The song, which Iggy has described as being "more stripped back," is set to appear on her upcoming album Surviving the Summer, which will be her first since her 2014 debut. Facing harsh but valid criticisms about cultural appropriation and a few online spats with everyone from Azealia Banks to Q-Tip, Azalea dropped out of the spotlight for a little bit, reappearing every so often to release a single to generally lukewarm reception. After getting signed to Island Records and ramping up the album rollout machine again, she might be finally going in the right direction.

The rapper also took to Twitter to share some personal good news, as her permanent residency application was finally accepted after 12 years of living and working in the United States. "I got accepted into America forever!" she said in the clip.

Congratulations to Iggy Azalea on being approved for a US Green Card! The "Fancy” rapper took to her Instagram Story to celebrate: “I got accepted into America forever!” pic.twitter.com/Uxs7tOywDF
