Shad Moss, AKA Bow Wow, announced he was done with rap nearly two years ago. He has dusted off the mic, however, and released a new track, “Drunk Off Ciroc/Emotional.”
The new track appears to include shots at his former frequent collaborator Chris Brown.
“I skipped a show just so I could see you Chris,” Bow Wow raps. “Day ones, me and you been through a lot of shit/No matter what you gonna always be my little brother/And it kill me when we in public and we ain’t speaking to each other/ This shit crazy/Oh my fault, Brown, this shit brazy/We grown men, let’s turn this shit around."
With the clear name drops of “Chris” and “Brown,” it’s hard to imagine Bow Wow could be talking about anyone else. It seems there’s beef between them and Moss wants to end it.
Brown, however, does not appear to understand where the song is coming from. He commented on an Instagram post from The Shade Room about the new track, “IM CONFUSED… U good bro?”
Elsewhere on the track, Bow Wow discussing losing a friend to a lean addiction and returning to So So Def.
