Independent train ticket retailers Trainline have joined forces with voice of the (comedic) streets, Big Shaq, for the world's first voicebot duet—celebrating Trainline's voice app—built for the Google Assistant.

Combining their leading travel tech with Google's groundbreaking platform, accessing info from Trainline now is easier than ever, and it's now been given a rhyming makeover.

Releasing a new short featuring the "Man's Not Hot" rapper, Big Shaq paces his way through the studio, flanked by sidekick Asznee, highlighting how the app can help to simplify your rail journey by planning.

As the character, created by Londoner Michael Dapaah, reels off comical bars in the studio, he's matched by the voicebot—more than up to the challenge, on this occasion.

David Slocombe, product director at Trainline, said of the partnership: "In the world's first rap duet between a rapper and a voicebot, Big Shaq put Trainline's voice app through its paces but it was more than up to the challenge! Trainline's voice app is a great example of our mission to use smarter technologies to make travel simpler and more hassle-free."

Trainline's voice app is available on the Google Assistant app on iOS and Android.
