A Beyoncé and Jay Z Tour Date Popped Up and Fans Are Freaking Out

Take all my money.

Moments after Childish Gambino announced a must-catch tour with Rae Sremmurd early Monday, Facebook event pages started popping up for what's being billed as a sequel to Beyoncé and Jay Z's 2014 On the Run Tour and—wow—I'm definitely going broke this year.

Within minutes, Facebook and Ticketmaster listings for the tour had been scrubbed. Is an official announcement coming? We've reached out to reps and will updated accordingly. Stay tuned.

The original co-headlining On the Run Tour took its name from Jay's Magna Carta Holy Grail cut and arrived on the heels of Beyoncé's exquisite self-titled 2013 album, which of course featured the timeless megaclassic "Drunk in Love."

If On the Run 2 proves to be a real thing that's actually happening, the timing is perfect. In the years since the original run, Bey and Jay have dropped two more critically acclaimed albums—Lemonade and 4:44, respectively—and appeared together on a new DJ Khaled single alongside Future. Jay Z also previously confirmed a collab album with Beyoncé exists.

In a wide-ranging CNN interview back in January, Jay discussed his relationship with Beyoncé and its influence on Lemonade. "You can be in love and you can love someone, but if you haven't experienced love and you don't understand it, and if you don't have the tools to move forward, then you're going to have complications," he told Van Jones. "Period." Jay added that he and Beyoncé were "never" a celebrity couple, but rather "a couple who happened to be celebrities."

Jay-Z tells @vanjones68 about mending his marriage with Beyoncé: "For us, we chose to fight for our love. For our family. To give our kids a different outcome. To break that cycle for black men and women" #VanJonesShow https://t.co/wLq6GxxpVc https://t.co/Nq4mLVAvSJ
