YG is back with his first single of 2018.

"Suu Whoop" is available now on iTunes/Apple Music. It's also on Spotify.

After previewing the surprise single on Instagram hours before its release, the Compton rapper's menacing new song hit streaming services Thursday night. Over hard-hitting production, YG pairs high-pitched "Suu whooooop" ad-libs with growling vocals as he paints a scene of gang life that lives up to the bloody artwork.

While "SUU WHOOP" represents his first solo single of the year, YG hasn't been quiet. In January, he joined fellow Southern California rapper Nipsey Hussle on "Last Time That I Checc'd," a single from his debut album Victory Lap—out now. Including Speaking about the features on the album, Nipsey told XXL, "I got three of the rappers I respect the most on the album. It's other songwriters and R&B singers that I collabed with, but I shared verses with three artists. Each one gave me something classic."
